With the collaboration of the Municipality of Jahlieh we are pleased to invite you to a wonderful hike that will be held in Jahlieh Shouf area we will have 3 levels:
Situated in the historical heartland of Mount Lebanon, the Shouf is often referred to as the cradle of modern Lebanon. The area of Shouf is very rich with a wide variety of greenery and vegetation and many natural beauty spots and historical sites.
Jahlieh is situated in Mount Lebanon - Shouf district, 35 kilometers southeast of Beirut with an altitude ranging between 400 to 650 meters and an area of 250 hectares. The approximate population is 5,500 and the number of houses is around 600. The bordering villages are: Daraya, Binwayte, Deir Dourit, Baakline. You can get to Jahlieh from Beirut via the south bound coastal highway by turning right at Damour where sign reads Deir el Qamar and Beiteddine. It's Summer time!! and what better time to go hiking and explore Lebanon's amazing mountains, green flowery scenery, and sparkling Lakes!! Join us to an amazing hiking trip to Jahlieh-Chouf area!
