Wednesday October 16 will be Adha Holiday we will enjoy Caving & Hiking in Aqoura
Rweiss grotto is located in Akoura 70 km away from Beirut.It’s considered the second biggest cave following Jeita grotto with massive rooms surrounded by rock and mud, exotic formations,streams waterfalls……. Arrival to Akoura all instructions will be guided by professionals with some safety explanations while wearing the equipment Helmet & Headlight to enter the cave 15 to 30 minutes for briefing and material preparation before entering Cave temperature will be two or three degrees lower than the outside environment
What to wear :
1. Solid boots (no running shoes) HIKING SHOES OR JAZMA will be the best choice
2. Hand gloves
3. Old warm clothes ( waterproof , jacket or additional sweater to wear in the cave)
N.B Don't wear Jeans Additional clothes and shoes in case we want to change the unclean clothes and shoes after activity
Caves are dark places only our lights will enlighten our passage, sometimes we might pass by narrow tunnels and please note that we will experience the mud and the water.
After discovering the Grott we will hike in Aqoura to reach Saydet Sahta for 4 - 5 km
It will be an unforgettable experience we will walk and climb ,crawl and hike and we will enjoy each other's company it will be a cosy day yalla guys bring with you your delicious snacks to make a picnic at the end of the trip(Potatoes & Garlic , Salad ......)
