We will spend Wednesday night at Mon Refuge in Arz we will take dinner in the hotel. So for all you talented people now is the time to bring out that dusted guitar, or any instrument of your choosing to spice up the night, if you also have a favorite cd or even a great voice we can’t wait to hear and cheer for you ;)
Thursday morning Check out , we will depart from Mon Refuge in Arz by Pullman to ‘Annoubine ' for a magnificent green spring walk in Annoubine will go Hiking and back to take the Lunch in Arz. After Lunch we will go straight to Tannourine Reserve between our National Trees! for a wonderfull walk & we will visit Balou3 Balaa , and at the end of the day we will Return to Beirut.
This will be an amazing experience that you will definitely remember for years to come, so make sure you also grab your camera to commemorate this memory ;)

About Annoubine
The valley of Qannoubine, also known as Kadisha or Holy Valley. Country of infinite beauty and infinite contrasts to whom the past has bequeathed a generous legacy, Kadisha is a tourist's paradise.
About the reserve: Tannourine trees Tannourine is home to over 70 000 ancient cedar trees such as the Cedrus libani species, as well as a variety of pines, poplars, and other tree species (Cupressus, Pinus, Abies, Populus). It is believed that some of these trees can sometimes be aged between 1000 and 2000 years of age. The area is rocky and mountainous with sharp slopes and a deep valley where cedars defy gravity and grow on extremely vertical slopes.
You can also enjoy the opportunity to discover naturally occurring grottos on their hike, as well as rare flowers particular to this high altitude terrain, like the mountain tulip or Lebanese prickly thrift.
Beside the 70 000 ancient trees, Tannourine Nature Reserves is also known for its various types of birds such as eagles, owls, robins and wild animals such as hyenas, boars, squirrels, snakes and bats. This reserve is enriched with floating lakes of water. It has more than one hundred springs and water sources.
Outdoor activities include hikes through the forest and treks to visit rock-cut monasteries, as well as cross-country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter.
About Balou3 Balaa Balaa is very famous for its 250 meters deep natural sink hole that has been carved by water 160 million years ago! This is an "Open Event", hikers are allowed to bring friends and invite others to join after informing them of all the details of the trip.
Please note that our journey conditions requires that you bring with you: - Clothing: Comfortable Shirt/Pants, Warm jacket, Hat/cap, HIKING BOOTS-A water proof suit will be needed in case of rainy day - Water : at least 2 liters/person - Food and Water: High-calorie quick-burn energy food , dried fruit, candy, fruitcake, small sandwiches, nuts, cookies - Other Gear: Backpack /Personal first aid kit/Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen. |
